SCSC has remained an important component of the zone in taking various initiatives to promote personal safety, infrastructural safety and physical safety.
We see a lot of individuals and organizations coming to us on various issues faced by them, guided by SCSC and we look into the cases and close them to the satisfaction of the victims.
The journey of the Margadarshak program over a period of a little more than 2 years has brought in a platform of assurance to victims of abuse. The 260 Margadarshaks from 77 organizations have worked on almost 100 cases where victims were on the verge of falling prey to the ill effects of stalking, eve teasing, domestic violence, physical abuse and dowry harassment. This has been a successful program introduced by SCSC and I urge every organization in Cyberabad to take up this program and mandatorily train a minimum of one Margadarshak at a ratio of 1:100 female employees present.
The Traffic Volunteer program makes a visible difference on the road which deserves compliments for the enthusiasm the volunteers bring in while trying to control traffic. Henceforth, all traffic violation photographs shot by Traffic Volunteers on their mobiles will be addressed to the Traffic cell for screening and issuance of e-challans. I also urge all the organizations to encourage their staff to become Traffic Volunteers as part of their CSR activities.
The impact of coming together for a progressive cause builds a better ecosystem and I invite all organizations to come forward and join SCSC as part of this existing Public Private partnership to work together for a better Cyberabad.
